Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

December 2025

On behalf of Hafi and myself, we would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We would like to thank you for entrusting us with your health care in 2025, and we look forward to continuing to support you and your family on your health journey in 2026 and beyond!

Thank you for everything

I would like to start by thanking you for everything you have done for me this year. It has been an honour looking after you and your family, and your trust, support and loyalty means the world to me.

Thank you so very much for referring your family and friends to see me. The greatest compliment that I can receive is the referral of family and friends, and it has been a pleasure helping those who mean the most to you.

And finally, thank you for all of your support and well wishes throughout our wedding this year. It has been truly wonderful sharing our special occasion with you, and your support has meant everything to us.

A year of expansion

March marked the expansion of my practice into a bigger premises after only 18 months. I couldn’t have done it without you, and I am forever grateful that you have chosen to have me on your health care team.

The reason that I get to do what I do is because of you, and I love the energy, laughter and healing that you bring to my practice. It’s an honour to be your chiropractor, and I look forward to continuing to be a part of this incredible journey with you.

A time to reflect

As always, I find this time of year is a great time to sit back and reflect on the year that was, as well as set some goals for the coming months and years ahead. Life tends to move at such a rapid pace, which makes it even more important to stop for a moment to remind yourself of what you have achieved, where you have grown, and what you could improve upon.

We tend to take stock of the bigger moments in our lives (such as a wedding), but we often forget about some of the smaller, but just as important, moments on a day to day basis.

When reflecting back on 2025, take some time to ask yourself the following questions…

  1. What were some of your biggest achievements?

  2. What would you change if you had your time again?

  3. What are some of your fondest memories?

  4. What areas of your life would you like to improve upon?

  5. What were some of your most memorable day to day moments?

Make goal setting a priority

The end of the year is the perfect time to set your goals for next year and beyond. Rather than wait for January, set some time aside to get them done now so that you set yourself up for the year ahead.

There are many ways to set goals, but I use the SMART goals method when setting my goals. SMART stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound. I set my life goals, 3 year goals, 12 month goals, 3 month goals and 1 month goals.

My most important goal for 2025 was to marry Hafi (and luckily I achieved it! lol!) Other goals that I set for myself are a mix of personal and business goals. I tend to only set five goals in each category as to not overwhelm myself, and my 1 month goals help me achieve my 3 month goals, which help me achieve my 12 month goals and so on.

Take some time to set some goals for next year, whether that’s personal or professional goals. Focus on what’s really important! Goals that focus on health, family, travel, career and lifestyle should be your primary focus. But make sure that you can track and measure them. Don’t set arbitrary financial goals for example. They have no meaning. Set goals that are truly going to push your life forward!

One of my goals for 2026 is to begin the journey of surrogacy with Hafi. I have certain goals that I want to achieve next year that will allow us to have children the following year or the year after that… all going well!

It’s important to break your goals down as they may take 2-3 years to achieve. Big life goals, such as getting married, having a family or buying a house, can take time, so it’s important to set smaller goals that help you work towards achieving your big life goals.

What are some of your goals for 2026?

A year of ups and downs

On a personal note, this was a very challenging year in many ways. Our wedding in August was as good as it gets! It was truly the most magical occasion surrounded by our closest family and friends, as well as travelling through Europe together. It was the holiday of a lifetime and something that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

We legally married in Adelaide in May in the presence of my Oma (my grandmother) and some of our immediate family and friends. It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony, and it was even more special that my Oma was there to witness it (and sign our marriage certificate).

However, it has also been an incredibly stressful year for both Hafi and myself. We have had many challenges on both a personal and professional level, but what it highlights to me is that life really is one hell of a roller coaster ride.

Which is why it’s even more important to cherish the precious moments that we have. Hugs from your children. Playing with your pets. Date nights with your spouse. Holidays with friends. A walk in nature. Sometimes it’s the small moments that really make it all worthwhile.

Which brings me to my next point!

Things don’t always go to plan

Life can throw you a curve ball (or curve balls) at any moment. Losing your job. A health scare. Financial challenges. Your children. Sometimes these things are temporary, and sometimes they seem to last forever.

When things are not going your way, don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Your family and friends are there to support you. As am I!

I have worked with many patients this year to help support them emotionally through some very trying times. This may be helping their body process certain emotions. Or by supporting their body nutritionally. Or even just lending an ear to chat to. And I will always be there for you whenever you need, as many of you have been for me!

We’re taking a break

I will be back in Adelaide over Christmas, so the practice will be closed from Sunday 21 December 2025 to Thursday 1 January 2026. I will be re-open on Friday 2 January 2026.

During this time, I will still be available on WhatsApp to make bookings and answer any questions, so please feel free to contact me.

Once again, we would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty and support this year, and thank you for simply being you!
